$ whoami → lead software engineer @ Loyalty Juggernaut

I make APIs embarrassingly fast, teams unreasonably effective, and AI actually useful in production.

// the human behind the endpoints

Backend engineer who treats latency as a personal insult.

📍 Hyderabad, India

Four-plus years ago I walked into Loyalty Juggernaut as an intern who thought caching was cheating. Somewhere between then and now I ended up leading a team of 12 at Loyalty Juggernaut, which still feels slightly surreal to type. Most of what I know came from doing mildly crazy things in production, helping people when I could (often), and asking for help when I was clearly in over my head (very often). I have one honest obsession: making slow things fast - a request that takes a second is just a request that has not met me yet. Lately a good chunk of my week goes to AI: wiring LLMs and agents into real workflows and learning what actually ships versus what just demos well. Weekdays are corporate; weekends go to side projects like VibeNear and TheWallTour, or whatever rabbit hole looks fun that week. I still do not know what I do not know, but the list keeps getting more interesting.

WHAT I WORK WITH

the fast path

backend & apis

APIs are conversations, and nobody likes a slow talker. I hunt N+1 queries for sport and treat every cache as a tiny victory.

PythonDjangoFlaskJavaSpring BootRESTOAuth 2.0caching

boring on purpose

cloud & scale

The best infrastructure is the kind nobody notices. Building on AWS since my first prod deploy, including the part where the bill gets smaller.

MCP servers, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM-powered tooling. Weekends of wiring models into real systems, learning what ships versus what demos.

leadership

Leading 12 engineers taught me the job is raising the quality of everyone's code, not just mine. Mentoring, design reviews, staying calm when pagers scream.

SELECTED WORK

SIDE QUESTS

None of these were assignments. I build things because building is the fun part, and the fun compounds: every weekend experiment is one more tool I already know how to swing when a real problem walks in.
